Here are pictures from the game! It wasn't the best game they've ever played, but the weather was wonderful, and we had a great time together. Enjoy!

The Queen and the Guard
This week (Monday-Wednesday) was VBS at Crieve Hall. We were asked last week to participate and received scripts the day before! We acted in the "Writing on the Wall" skit. I was the queen; Cary was the guard. It was pretty fun, and by the end of it we'd preformed the skit 12 times! Here we are in our set:
Walk Through!
Yesterday we had our official walk through of the house! I couldn't believe we were standing in our house! In the same house that just the other day was just concrete and wood. The Centex guy walked us through every inch of the house and sprinkled it with blue tape to mark changes. When we were done it looked like the house was breaking out with blue chicken pox. Here are some pictures of inside the house.. you can't tell much about it, but next post will be of us working inside!

4th of July!
This weekend we went home and stayed with Cary's parents in Westport. We somehow didn't take any pictures, but we had such a good time! Maddie came home with us and certainly had the time of her life. Her and Bo ran around, played in the pond, fetched golf balls.. Maddie is a little mopey today. I'm sure she misses her wide open spaces!
My parents came down for both Friday and Saturday activities. Friday night we had grilled hamburgers and hotdogs over at Wendell's and fireworks at dark. Mom and Dad especially enjoyed all the pig-cookin'-flippin entertainment. Saturday was pretty warm, but we had barbeque to eat, yum!! and home made ice cream. Mrs. Karen's was the best with that Honduran vanilla :)
We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful family! Happy Independence Day America!!

3-day Walk for Breast Cancer
I have officially registered for the 3-day Walk for Breast Cancer in Atlanta, GA. A group of my friends will be participating in this amazing event October 22-24. We will walk 60 miles in 3 days in the name of breast cancer survivors, those that have lost their battle with breast cancer, and finding a cure. I have to raise $2,300 to walk. Please let me know if you would like to donate to this wonderful cause! I will be happy to wear the name of a loved one as I take on this challenge!

The Beginning
This is the beginning of our Blogging experience. With our family away from us, we felt this was a great way to document our lives, and share what's going on in our new lives together. We're so excited about the changes going on and have very much enjoyed the first week and a half of married life! We plan on giving updates about our house being built, Maddie's cute/not so cute moments, and any other exciting thing that happens in Nashville! Thanks for visiting and be sure to put our blog in your favorites and come back often! :)
